Beer ads dominated round four of Commercial Radio Australia’s 2012 Siren Awards with a Clemenger BBDO Melbourne campaign for Fosters Carlton mid-strength beer coming out on top.

The ‘Spending too much time with the wife?’ ad, written by Richard Williams and Ant Phillips from the Melbourne agency won the campaign and overall categories for round four of the Siren Awards.

Williams and Phillips said the inspiration for the ads, which use humour to remind men to spend time with their mates drinking beer, came from their friends and their significant others.
