The Tasmanian Micro Brew Fest is organised by Tasmanian Polytechnic Drysdale students on behalf of the Tasmanian Association of Micro Brewing Inc (TAMI).

The second annual Tasmanian Microbrew fest will showcase products from Tasmania's micro brewery industry by bringing the community together to raise awareness, education and appreciation of our boutique beer and cider. It will showcase products from the following breweries: Moo Brew, Two Metre Tall, Iron House, Seven Sheds, Van Dieman, Dickens Ciders, Taverner’s, Chilli beer and introducing Captain Bligh’s cider.

The general public will also have the chance to sample and purchase Tasmanian made boutique beers and ciders. The first Microbrew Fest last year was a huge success; 400 people attended and 96% of those said they would attend the next Tasmanian Microbrew Fest. This year we are aiming for 500 attendees.

Christmas Cheer

As with every Christmas, although we have in-house accommodation guests staying with us at White Sands on the Christmas day, we actually close reception and the restaurant so that our staff are able to spend this special day with their own loved ones.

Reception will reopen on Boxing Day at 8.30am and the Restaurant from 11.30am

New Years Eve Spectacular

New Years will be a fabulous party with a 4 course dinner and live Jazz plus Fireworks for only $48pp. Don't um and aah about what your doing this NYE, make the decision to join the best party on the coast and book your table at White Sands. Plus we will also look after your children in our Kids Club, just $20 per child this includes dinner, supervision, entertainment and most importantly a children's fireworks display at 9pm- yeah!
