Microbrewery

The Aim of this course is to train and familiarize participants in the daily operation of a microbrewery, from an entirely practical perspective.

23 May - Microbrewery theory and course outline
24 May - Brewing the beer
14 June - Bottling the beer

Students will have full access to the Regency Campus microbrewery equipment
Pre-requisites: - Mash Brew short course an advantage.

MASH BREWING
The course is designed for those interested in the process of making beer through mashing the grain such as home brewers or beer enthusiasts. Students will utilize the 75 litre “brew sculpture” and kettles to make four beer styles and take home 18 litres in total (remainder is for testing & tasting).
Commencement:
8th June 2011 – 2nd July 2011 (no attendance 25 & 29 June)
Each course is: Three sessions x three hours – 6pm to 9pm Wednesdays
Three sessions x seven hours – 9am to 4pm Saturdays
