Fringeworld 2012

Kicking off on January 26th and running until Feb 16th, Perth Fringeworld is back in 2012 with a vengeance! After the roaring success of the trial run in 2011, Perth Fringeworld is here to stay and set to bring Perth to life over the next two weeks and fill our hearts and souls with the wacky, beautiful and sometimes down right outrageous.

The Speigeltent is back again in the Perth Cultural Centre and there are two new hubs this year too - one of which sees a transformation of our favourite old abandoned building in Perth; the Treasury building. With a heap of incredible free and ticketed events over the program you’re all set to fringe binge to your hearts content. Check out the full flip book program here.

Like only Aussies can

Nothing says “Aussie” like a day off work spent in the sunshine with a refreshing ale in hand and while we’re not quite as eager as Vegemite, we’d love to be a part of your Australia day celebrations wherever you are. If you find yourself in Sydney, head across to Hyde Park for a Little Creatures fix, a heap of stuff to keep the kids amused and some good old Aussie entertainment (gum leaf solo anyone?). If you’re in our neck of the woods in Freo or around the Melbourne Dining Hall, of course we’re open from 11am till late for you to visit us, grab a beer and some nosh and laze the day away.

Ask us anything

Always wanted to ask us a question about brewing? After a minor miscalculation that led to some exploding casks in the brewery, we remembered how tricky it can be to brew one-offs and homebrews so we thought we’d open up the lines and answer any questions you might have about homebrewing. Two weeks from today on Thursday Feb 2nd we’ll be jumping onto our facebook page at 3.30pm WST (6.30pm for those of you in Victoria or New South Wales and to make things complicated, 5.30pm if you're in Queensland) to answer any and all of your questions. Mark it in your diaries now and we’ll see you on the world wide web.
