A few weeks ago we told you about our On The Cheap Challenge, where we pitted Budweiser against Pabst Blue Ribbon in a blind taste test among randomly selected beer drinkers. The low-cost PBR won in a landslide. Well, we've since bumped into On The Cheap fan and beer connoisseur Josh Newman of Lower Saucon Township. We both volunteered to help build a playground at Higbee Park in Bethlehem. It was a pretty hot day and we were doing a lot of grunt work like moving mulch. So it didn't take too long for the conversation to get to beer. Josh mentioned that he saw our On The Cheap Challenge, and he rattled off a few of his own cheap beers. But he also offered a great tip for what to do with those empty beer cans. He uses them to make model airplanes.
