Established:

January 2005, opened to the public June 2006

Present capacity:

12 hectolitre brew length, with cellaring capacity of 1300 hectolitres.

Location:

121 Great Alpine Road in the heart of Bright. Bright is a scenic mountain town in Victoria's Alpine High Country. The brewery overlooks the riverside parkland.

Hellfire Amber Ale

Blowhard Pale Ale

more regular and seasonal beers being brewed in coming months

Gold and 2 bronze at Australian International Beer Awards, 2006

Best Pale Ale, Peoples Choice Award, Federation Square Microbreweries Showcase 2006

Direct from Bright Brewery in Bright, plus nearby pubs, restaurants and bars. If you're close to Victoria's Alpine high country, select bottle shops and pubs in Melbourne (see www.brightbrewery.com.au) or sent to your door - follow the links on the website. If you're going skiing this winter, ask for Bright Brewery beer at Hotham, Falls, Buller, Buffalo and Dinner Plain.
