Balanced Beer

A good beer is a well balanced beer (hop and malt balance). The BALANCED BEER SOCIETY is for beer lovers who CAN BALANCE A BEER ON THEIR HEAD. This idea originated on www.microbrewing.com.au brewers file which shows Australian brewers balancing beer on their heads

Since the idea originated different ways of balancing beer on your head have been created.
eg 1> The Moroney (2006) - created by Fremantles Mad Monk brewer Richard Moroney. The Moroney is the ability to balance a beer on your head while also drinking one.
2> Vaughan Works (2007) UOB brewing graduates Caolan Vaughan and David Work created "Vaughan Works" by balancing a beer on their heads while they arm wrestle.

To BECOME A MEMBER OF THE BALANCED BEER SOCIETY, just add your photo with a balanced beer to this group. Create your own balancing technique.

Balancing beer takes practice and there are different techniques from where people balance the beer on their heads. The beer glass or bottle must contain beer. The more beer in your glass - the more difficult it is. Different shaped glasses have different difficulty levels of balancing eg long glasses are harder.

Balanced Beer Society would like to thank Champion Australian brewer Dean Mcleod (Colonial brewing) for encouraging www.microbrewing.com.au to open it onto www.facebook.com

Balancing beer on your head for fun was created by myself, John Stallwood (Nail Ale). I just thought it is an obvious thing all beer lovers should do.

The BALANCED BEER SOCIETY takes no responsibility for broken beer glasses.
